"Do what you do best and outsource the rest" (June 8-11, Chicago, IL) |
| Chicago, Illinois - June 8, 2010 –Transcend People Limited, the leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider in Vietnam, will be exhibiting at the annual Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition (IRCE) held between June 8th – 11th 2010 in Chicago, Illinois. IRCE is America’s largest e-commerce tradeshow and TPL is excited to be part of this major event for the third year in a row. Every year, the IRCE event has always been a major event on TPL’s calendar. "This is not only an opportunity to showcase our services to prospective customers, but also a great way to keep abreast of industry changes. In the ecommerce industry staying ahead of the game is important", said Mark Tran, Managing Director of TPL. This June, TPL will exhibit at Booth 772 to launch its new campaign "Do what you do best and outsource the rest". The campaign underpins the trends experienced in today’s highly volatile market where companies are undergoing fundamental changes to respond to the challenges they face. Effective outsourcing, therefore, has not become a viable option, but can be a long term solution to help companies reduce operational costs, improve processes and efficiency and more importantly, free up key resources so they can focus on delivering real results. TPL prides itself on having a strong team of western managers from a diverse professional and geographical background, including America, Australia and Europe. This underpins the company’s commitment to providing open communication and seamless integration for its clients, ranging from small enterprises to companies in the top 500 Internet Retailers in the U.S. For Swiss-born Project Manager Sascha Spiegel, working in Vietnam has not only broadened his professional experience but has also opened up his mind to the different ways of thinking. “I come from a hospitality background which has made me learned the value of teamwork. The synergetic effect is immeasurable when everyone is working towards the same goal. I believe that’s what’s driving the team here at TPL.” TPL local team members are recruited from top universities across the country, including graduates in English and Business Administration degrees. Another 60% of staff members are currently undertaking extra English classes or pursuing a second degree outside of their working hours. “At TPL, the resources available to us both inhouse and from clients have been invaluable in my professional and personal development. For me, outsourcing is more than just a temporary business relationship. We see ourselves as an extension of our customer’s team. So through helping our customer reach their goals, we reach our goal too.” Said Thuong Ngo, team leader of one of TPL’s largest projects. “Ho Chi Minh City on KPMG 'locations to watch' for next outsourcing boom” - KPMG Advisory, 2009 Think outsourcing and people would automatically associate it with countries such as India, Philippines and increasingly China these days. Traditionally these countries have been the major players in the software development, website design and application testing fields. However, recent hikes in inflation in these countries have led companies to seek opportunities elsewhere. With a robust economy that has seen Vietnam being the second fastest growing economy in Asia; the country is considered to be a dynamic nation with great outsourcing potential. Vietnam has a population of over 86 million people and over 60% of the population is under 30 years of age. Labor costs in Vietnam compare very favorably to other potential outsourcing destinations. Vietnam's salaries are over 30% less expensive than India and 90% less expensive than labor costs in the U.S for Business Process Outsourcing. Young Vietnamese with better education have already overcome the English language barrier that was believed as a weakness earlier. When looking at how Vietnam "stacks up", it becomes clear that Vietnam is an offshore outsourcing destination that is worthy of strong consideration.
